Story Time

I looked up at the sky

And I found what I least expected to.

I found stories of old

And testaments untold.

Of Aphrodite and Anchises.

The story of Love and War.

She told me how Medusa came to be 

And of Athena's jealousy.

She told me about Kali and her wrath

And Shiva and his dance.

In her I found Prometheus with his fire 

And Circe with her power.

Ra and Appollo fighting to see who's who

knowing not they are one and the same.

A hundred stories in her I found. 

And maybe once again I'll look to the skies up above

And the heaven's in the sea

In hopes of finding new stories of a time long gone.
